Filecoin Foundation has launched a bounty program for storage providers. This program serves as an open tool to coordinate work priorities and leverage the collective knowledge of the Filecoin ecosystem in providing crowdsourced solutions for the storage provider community.

The goal of this program is to improve the Filecoin ecosystem and community support by collaborating with community members and contributors. It aims to incentivize more contributors to participate in the Filecoin project and address certain issues by rewarding community contributors who have provided significant value with Filecoin.

A bounty program is a reward system for solving simple tasks, such as fixing small errors, adding test cases, updating or translating documentation, or proposing the creation of small and specific features. The bounty rewards are measured based on the severity and urgency of the event, with higher priority issues receiving higher rewards. The prioritization and reward criteria are jointly developed by the Filecoin Foundation and the storage provider working group.

The bounty amount is flexible and encompasses both technical and non-technical issues. Whether you have technical, writing, coding, or language skills or have previously participated in the Filecoin network, you can contribute to this project. Give it a try and utilize your skills in writing, coding, or foreign languages!

The bounty is a simple reward for closing/resolving an issue, ranging from $50 to $5,000 (or the equivalent in FIL). The main criteria for judging the award are the urgency and complexity of the tasks. The rewards are determined by the Filecoin Foundation and the Filecoin storage provider working group, and the judgment criteria will be gradually refined to ensure transparency. To distribute the rewards after closing an issue, contributors must submit a bounty claim, which will notify the Filecoin Foundation team about their work and payment details.
