Former delivery worker caught with $2.5 billion Bi

Jian Wen, a former food delivery worker living in London, was convicted of money laundering after being caught with $2.5 billion worth of Bitcoin in 2018.

Wen helped Chinese fugitive Zhang Yadi (real name Qian Zhimin) launder BTC funds.

Wen was found with Bitcoin worth over £2 billion and tried to turn these coins into multi-million pound homes and jewellery.

️‍️ During the investigation, British police seized wallets containing more than 61,000 BTC, one of the largest cryptocurrency seizures worldwide.

️ Wen was convicted of money laundering and is expected to be sentenced on May 10. Zhang is still wanted.
