【Crazy coin buying! MicroStrategy bought another 12,000 Bitcoins, bringing the total holdings to 205,000]

Recently, according to BlockBeats news, MicroStrategy made another move, announcing that between February 26 and March 10, 2024, it spent a total of approximately US$821.7 million to purchase approximately 12,000 Bitcoins, with an average purchase price of approximately US$68,477 per coin (including fees and expenses).

The purchase was funded by approximately $781.1 million from the company's recent private placement of convertible senior notes, as well as an additional $40.6 million in cash. Previously, we reported that MicroStrategy announced the completion of an $800 million convertible senior notes offering to purchase more Bitcoin.

As of March 10, 2024, MicroStrategy and its subsidiaries held approximately 205,000 Bitcoins with a total purchase price of approximately $6.91 billion, with an average purchase price of approximately $33,706 per coin (including fees and expenses).
