Ethereum core developer eric.eth posted on the X platform that EIP-4844 will be released on Wednesday, which will reduce the Ethereum transaction fee to $0.01.

According to previous news, the Ethereum Foundation issued a Dencun mainnet upgrade announcement. Dencun is expected to be activated on the Ethereum mainnet at 21:55 on March 13, 2024, Beijing time, with a block height of 269568. It is reported that this upgrade introduces temporary data blobs with EIP-4844, also known as protodanksharding, which will help reduce L2 transaction fees.
